PORTLAND YOUTH JAZZ ORCHESTRA - PYJO brings young musicians together to rehearse, study, and perform the American art form of Jazz. They have performed with the likes of Bobby Shew - Lead Trumpet extraordinaire (Buddy Rich, Bob Florence Bands etc), Rebirth Brass Band and many more.
BodyVox - Led by Emmy Award-winning choreographers Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland, BodyVox is known for its visual virtuosity, distinctive wit and unique ability to combine dance, theater and film into breathtaking productions rich in imagery, athleticism and humor.
THOSE WILLOWS - Portland based Indie Pop band Those Willows began almost 10 years ago when Jack Wells and Mel Tarter met in high school in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. Since then, they have grown to a four piece band and evolved their sound with Motown, folk and soul influences. With four releases, tours around the US, and songs appearing on MTV, VH1 and Bravo, Those Willows will hook you with their vice grip vocal harmonies and magnetic energy.
MEXICA TIAHUI - Mexica Tiahui Was Formed in 1995 by Mexican and Chicano students at Oregon State University. They were the first Aztec dance group in the Northwest. They share traditional Mexican history and culture to communities throughout the Pacific Northwest.
SAEEDA WRIGHT - Saeeda has been seen on stages backing Prince, as a member of his New Power Generation, the Pacific Northwest’s own Liv Warfield. She is very well known and respected for her work as a soloist with the Oregon Symphony, and has been a regular participant in Portland’s Annual Blues Festival. She is also working to complete her debut self titled album.
EDGE MOVEMENT ARTS - Edge Movement Arts is movement professionals Jessica Lindsey and Chad Brooks. They teach and perform in Latin and Ballroom Dance, Yoga, and AcroYoga.
POLARIS DANCE THEATRE - The Polaris Dance Company choreographs and stages productions to the Greater Portland area and beyond. Contemporary dance flavored with aerial, hip-hop, African, and Latin influences, with a focus on social commentary.
SOUL'D OUT - A mixed a cappella group from Wilsonville High School, just SE of Portland, they are quickly making a name for themselves as one of the best high school a cappella groups in the country with their stunning arrangements and breathtaking solos.
THERE IS NO MOUNTAIN - A musical duo made up of Kali Giaritta and Matt Harmon playing an intricate, turn-on-a-dime brand of psychedelic pop, with audible influences ranging from ancient folk to modern americana and world music.
SALSANOVA - Portland’s own 10-piece SalsaNova Orchestra, led by charismatic singer and bandleader Roberto Iglesias. They will make you want to get up and dance!
BLOSSOM - The bud who is Blossom began with her roots in Trinidad & Tibego. Born into a musically inclined family, she embraced the stage naturally at the age of 12 alongside her uncle's traveling steel drum band. Blossom's neo-soul voice and meaningful lyrics quickly found her an ever-growing liking among Portland's underground hip-hop scene. Blossom continuously aspires to create music that stirs the soul
